Our lucky break....

So, we went on a whirlwind trip to California this weekend to do a bunch of wedding stuff.

We flew in Saturday morning and went out to breakfast then ran over to the tux shop and got all that stuff squared away.
Then we got to sample cake (Mike's favorite part).
Then we went and figured out flowers for the tables and bridesmaids and everything.
Valentine's night we went to the Harns' for dinner and and had some DELICIOUS filet mignon.
Monday we woke up to a downpour. After 100's of prayers for it to stop raining we got in the car and drove to Huntington to take our engagement pictures. This is us practicing our beautiful smiles.
By the time we got to the spot the sun was out and it turned out to be really nice.
After our photo shoot we were driving to the airport and saw a beautiful rainbow, the perfect ending to the perfect day. Well, not quite the ending, we still had to fly to SLC and then drive back to Rexburg.Mike made an executive decision after comparing Rexburg and Huntington that we are going to leave the Burg in December when we graduate and move down to the warmer climates.

Weekend in Utah

Mike and I took a quick trip to Utah this passed weeked to spend some time with my new little niece, Maddison. She is just so precious and angelic.
We also spent a day snowboarding in park city! That was so much fun, I finally got to wear my new snowboarding outfit. Unfortunately I forgot my camera but we snapped a shot in the car ride home after a beautiful sunny day on the mountain!

We also got to spend a night with some close friends that recently left Rexburg and moved to Utah! We have missed them! We went to Olive Garden on a double date and took some random, silly pictures in ShopKo! ShopKo was a first for mike and I and mike fell in love with a Lazy Boy!
